The NFL world is awaiting a decision from Aaron Rodgers on if he wants to play in 2023 or not, and if that will be with the New York Jets or Green Bay Packers. With free agency starting on March 15, both the Jets and Packers seem handcuffed by the four-time MVP as they struggle with how to approach free agency. However, in a recent interview with former Jets and Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Rodgers revealed the timeline for his decision and, perhaps, let slip what his decision will be.
Aaron Rodgers Talks to Brandon Marshall

Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall has a podcast called “I Am Athlete,” and he caught up with Rodgers at an event and asked him about his darkness retreat, meeting with the Jets, and when we can expect a decision:
Rodgers and Marshall first talk about the charity flag football tournament that they were a part of, which saw Rodgers team up with Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens. He also talked about his spiritual journey, mentioning how he wanted to “get out of my head and more into my heart,” which has helped him feel better about himself and build better relationships.
He also addressed his meeting with the Jets’ owner, Woody Johnson, and coaching staff:
“It’s always interesting meeting important figures in sports. Yeah, that’s all I’m giving you.”
On when a decision is coming:
“Stay tuned. It won’t be long. You know, there’s a time limit for these things.”
Presumably, that timeline is Wednesday when the new NFL league year begins.
Next, Marshall talked about how he is an All-Time New York Jet and Chicago Bear, and wondered how Rodgers would feel joining the ranks of All-Time Jets players:
“Not if you only play one year!”
Has Aaron Rodgers made up his mind that he will play for the Jets, but only for one year? It certainly sounds like it.
