Aaron Rodgers has been the talk of the town during the 2023 off-season. Just like the start of the 2022 off-season, Rodgers’ future in uncertain. It was March 8th, 2022 when Aaron Rodgers signed his massive four-year extension. Many thought a decision would be made around that same timeframe this year. We have received some news, most notably that Aaron Rodgers said he intends to play for the New York Jets in 2023. However, a trade agreement between the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets has yet to happen. All the potential news surrounding Aaron Rodgers has had media outlets reporting on anything and everything they may think to be true, that includes Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter.
Aaron Rodgers Has Ian Rapoport And Adam Schefter Feuding
During an interview with McAfee, the longtime Packers quarterback took shots at two notable ESPN NFL insiders, Dianna Russini and Adam Schefter. When asked by Schefter to confirm a report from Russini claiming he presented the Jets with a “wish list,” Rodgers said the notion was “ridiculous” and even texted the NFL insider to “lose my number.”
This Friday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport sat down with McAfee to discuss what happened between Rodgers and his competition over at ESPN. “I thought it was fine,” Rapoport said about Rodgers’ harsh comments towards NFL reporters this week. “Now, did I mind that others got it worse? Some fans seemed to be intrigued by the apparent rivalry and professional “beef” between Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter.
“I never knew Rap sheet legit didn’t like Schefter until this lmao,” Vince said.
“Lol I love that rap legit doesn’t like Schefty. A real rivalry like shams and woj,” Michael tweeted.
The anticipated trade involving Aaron Rodgers between the Packers and Jets has media outlets speculating what other moves the Jets may attempt to make in order to appease Rodgers. The Jets already signed former Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard, someone Aaron Rodgers has consistently spoke highly of.
