Aaron Rodgers has been the talk of the NFL ever since the Packers were eliminated from playoff contention in week 18 of the 2022 season. Specifically, the future of Aaron Rodgers and where he will play next year. Today Aaron Rodgers was participating in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, however, it was delayed due to extremely high winds. During the delay, Aaron Rodgers gave an interview that left a lot of fans speculating about where he might want to play next season.
Aaron Rodgers Gives Striking Interview At Pebble Beach Pro-Am
During the interview Aaron Rodgers stated:
It’s fun to be here, it is such a great event. The fans are amazing, a lot of people yelling about different teams they want me to come to next year. Which has been fun because we have a little inside bet going about which team is going to have the most fans, but it’s been fun.
Aaron Rodgers was then asked if there was “a favorite color or favorite city that he might have on his mind for next season.” This was his response:
I’m just going to say that the predominant team that we hear as we’re walking is the Raiders. A lot of Raider fans are encouraging me, a lot of “Davante misses you” comments. So we’re having some fun with it, it’s a great event for the fans to come out here and hopefully we can get back on the course.

Many of these trade scenarios involve wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, tight end Darren Waller, and a first round draft pick (or two). With the imminent departure of quarterback Derek Carr, the Raiders are certainly looking for that missing piece at quarterback. It must be noted, however, that the Raiders general manager Dave Zeigler may have said the Raiders won’t be trading for Aaron Rodgers. Or any one player that involves “allocating a bunch of resources to obtain.” It will be interesting to see if the Raiders are ever “in” on an Aaron Rodgers trade bidding process, if in-fact the Packers are willing to deal him.
