Last night, it was reported that Aaron Rodgers was torn over his decision on where to play in 2022. Today, it has been reported by Pro Football Talk that his list of destinations has been narrowed down to four teams. Of course, the first team on the list is the Green Bay Packers. Another team, the Denver Broncos, have long been rumored to be in the market for Aaron Rodgers. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans round out the list.
As we understand it, the Aaron Rodgers options are: Green Bay, Denver, Tennessee, or Pittsburgh. Stay tuned. https://t.co/qcIR91vXAG

After the Packers lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round, Rodgers stated that he would be making a decision pretty quick and would not drag out the process. A self-imposed deadline of March 8 s quickly approaching with few indicators of which way Rodgers is leaning.
There are many questions surrounding this situation with Aaron Rodgers. Right now, we are going to focus on the four teams listed by Pro Football Talk. What teams make the most sense, for both Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers?
Team #1- The Green Bay Packers
The team that makes the most sense for both parties are the Green Bay Packers themselves. As Ian Rapoport reported, the Packers are willing to make Rodgers the highest paid player in NFL history. In addition, the team has won 13 games in each of the past three regular seasons. Despite the team’s obvious salary cap woes, the Packers do give Aaron Rodgers the best chance to compete for a Super Bowl.

And, of course, there is this:
Contrary to an overnight report, the Packers have not lined up any trades for Aaron Rodgers, according to a source.

Despite what many have said throughout the offseason, it does not appear that the Packers have even engaged in any talks regarding an Aaron Rodgers trade. As Matt LaFleur stated, they are hopeful he will be back and want him to be in Green Bay until he retires.
Team #2- The Denver Broncos
For almost a year, the Denver Broncos have been rumored to be in the market for Aaron Rodgers. Nathaniel Hackett, the former Packers’ offensive coordinator, is now the head coach of the Broncos. As reported earlier this offseason, Hackett is pushing hard for a trade that would land Aaron Rodgers in Denver. The Broncos do have the best possible trade package, making a trade to the Broncos beneficial for the Packers as well. The major question, though, is whether or not stud wide receiver Jerry Jeudy would be involved. The Packers would likely want him as part of any trade package, but he is really the only receiving threat on the Broncos’ roster. Why would they trade for Aaron Rodgers if he didn’t have Jeudy to throw to?

But again, any trade package that the Broncos reportedly have available has not been discussed with the Green Bay Packers.
With the start of the new league year 11 days away, the Packers still have not engaged in any trade scenarios regarding Aaron Rodgers and are awaiting their quarterback’s decision, per league sources.

Team #3- The Pittsburgh Steelers
This is a scenario that really only makes sense for the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Ben Rothlisberger retiring, the team does not have a real heir to the quarterback position outside of Mason Rudolph. That being said, the Steelers have nowhere near the same kind of package available to trade as the Broncos.

The real only credibility to this rumor is that Rodgers reportedly has a good relationship with Steelers coach Mike Tomlin. And yet again:
ICYMI from Friday: Packers have not "entertained any trade thoughts at all" for Aaron Rodgers, per @RapSheethttps://t.co/sqGtn580kQ pic.twitter.com/V863DiPwvh

Team #4- The Tennessee Titans
This trade would certainly work out great for Aaron Rodgers. The Titans were the number one seed in the AFC last season and boast a plethora of offensive weapons. However, they only have late first round draft picks, something that the Packers will not be interested in if a trade was brought up to them. Additionally, Ryan Tannehill is due to make $20 million in 2022. If, and that is a big IF, the Packers trade Rodgers, they will not want to add another $20 million to their books.

Oh, and in case it wasn’t clear:
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said this week at the combine that he hasn't gotten a single call about trading Rodgers and, per a source, this remains true: The Packers have NOT engaged in trade talks with any teams about Rodgers.
