Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers won’t be together in 2023. At least, that is what all the signs are currently pointing towards. It has been more than three weeks since Aaron Rodgers declared he intends to play for the New York Jets in 2023. However, with seemingly no progress toward that trade actually happening, multiple other teams have reportedly entered the mix for the four-time MVP quarterback. One of those teams could offer a massive haul for Rodgers.
San Francisco 49ers Could Reportedly Offer Massive Haul For Aaron Rodgers

According to The Carton Show:
The San Francisco 49ers are willing to offer a 2024 first-round pick for Aaron Rodgers as well multiple third-round selections in this year’s NFL Draft.
The 49ers own the rights to the No. 99, No. 101 and No. 102 overall picks in 2023, all of which are compensatory selections the team picked up due to significant losses of personnel and coaching staff members this offseason.
The offer from the Niners, which Carton reported Wednesday is potentially on the table, is only a little better than what Florio reported the Jets are willing to give up to acquire Rodgers’ services. Rather than actually sending Rodgers to San Francisco, it is more likely Green Bay would try to leverage an offer from the 49ers in an attempt to make the Jets up their price, perhaps by adding an extra second-rounder this season or upgrading the centerpiece of the deal to the No. 13 pick in the 2023 draft.
Whether the Green Bay Packers are only using the 49ers as leverage, or if they are serious about actually trading him out west, remains to be seen. However, something like this can only bode well for what the Green Bay Packers may receive in return. If the 49ers and Packers actually came to an agreement, it might look something like this:
San Francisco 49er Receive:
- QB Aaron Rodgers
Green Bay Packers Receive:
- 2024 First Round Pick
- 2023 Third Round Pick (99 Overall)
- 2023 Third Round Pick (101 Overall)
While the Green Bay Packers haven’t had much luck in the third round in recent years, having three picks in said round would drastically increase their chances of ending that cold streak. It would also set the Packers up for a big move during the 2024 draft if need be.

Sadly, the trade with Seattle and Denver was so bad that there’s not much trade value in older quarterbacks Russell Wilson hurt our ability to get a good first round pick
The Packers “could” get a lot of draft picks for Rodgers or the Easter Bunny “could” lead them to the Superbowl.
The Packers could also give away Rodgers $100 million remaining on his contract and diva status for a kicking tee.
