The offseason has become an annual time of speculation for Packers fans. Everyone in the NFL is once again unsure of what lies ahead for the four-time MVP. Today, on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers provided some clarity on when a decision could be coming and what his current mindset is.

    Aaron Rodgers’ Comments

To recap, Aaron Rodgers is contemplating returning to play or retiring. The other piece of the puzzle is whether or not the Packers want him back. There have been rumors that the Packers are ready to move on to the Jordan Love era. Regardless of what the Packers want to do, they are also patiently and anxiously awaiting Aaron Rodgers’ decision so they can get to doing business.

Rodgers said that in a couple of weeks, he will feel strongly about one of his two options. Obviously, those options he is referring to are retirement or returning. Rodgers went on to say that another thing to remember is that there is still football being played. He also said that his pending decision should not overshadow the great seasons put together by the Eagles and Chiefs.

“It ain’t about me it’s about the Chiefs and the Eagles and their great season.”
