Aaron Rodgers and his decision to spend four days and nights in total darkness have been the talk of social media and NFL analysts ever since he announced his plans on The Pat McAfee Show. According to ESPN’s Xuan Thai, that darkness retreat has ended and Rodgers has emerged.

For weeks, there have been rumors that other teams were interested in trading for Rodgers. Among these have been the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets. Various sportsbooks have even given these teams better odds of having Rodgers under center than the Green Bay Packers, the team Rodgers has played for in each of the past 18 seasons.
Will the Green Bay Packers Trade Aaron Rodgers?
The reports of the Packers’ desire to trade Aaron Rodgers if he chooses to play football in 2023 have gone from curious to downright vile. On writer who covers the Packers, Bob McGinn, went so far as to say that the Packers were “disgusted” with Rodgers and were more than ready to move on from him. McGinn cited his sources as his “gut instincts” and someone with close knowledge to the workings of the front office.
A day after McGinn’s report, however, two different NFL insiders reported that the Packers want Aaron Rodgers back under center if he decides to play in 2023.
Of course, Rodgers himself addressed all of these reports before going off the grid on his darkness retreat. In his last appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers said that these insiders, while being good at their jobs, “don’t know s**t about me.”
While Rodgers has emerged from his retreat, it certainly does not mean that we will know his decision today.
With the NFL Combine starting next week, he may have some conversations with the Packers within the coming days, but it may be a while before the fans are made aware of anything.
