Aaron Rodgers has emerged from his darkness retreat and trade rumors seem to have died down. With Derek Carr visiting the New York Jets, it seems as if New York is keeping their options open before over-paying for the four-time MVP. Additionally, the Las Vegas Raiders have recently backed out of any potential trade discussions. That has not stopped many from still believing that a trade of Rodgers to either of those teams could still happen. One such person is former Jets cornerback Derrelle Revis, who was recently selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Derrelle Revis Says Aaron Rodgers Needs to “Come in Humble”

In an interview with TMZ, Revis said that New York is a tough market and that Rodgers should “come in humble” if traded to the Jets. It is not the first time someone has mentioned a possible clash between the large New York market and Rodgers’ own personality.
That being said, Revis did tell TMZ that he thinks Rodgers could take the Jets to the next level:
“I believe he has weapons at every position. As Jets fans. As Jet lovers. We can see some high-scoring games. We can see some big victories.
“Having a superstar quarterback in Rodgers, he can definitely put points on the board very quickly which would help the defense rest much better and they can be more explosive.”
Aaron Rodgers just ended his four-day darkness retreat and has not revealed what his decision on playing 2023 is yet. Perhaps he does not even know himself.
One thing is for sure, that decision will help set the narrative for the rest of the offseason of more than one franchise.
