Aaron Rodgers Comments On Za’Darius Smith Ripping Green Bay

If you haven’t already heard, Za’Darius Smith has been doing a good job of running his mouth this off-season.  Multiple times now Smith has commented on how excited he is to play week one against the Packers.  Packers fans have also let Z have it this off-season.  The banter back and forth has been real so far.  It has finally gained enough attention for Matt LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers to be asked about it.  Here is was Rodgers had to say.

Aaron Rodgers Comments On Za’Darius Smith

Aaron Rodgers’ response to Za’Darius Smith’s comments (with a big smile at the start of his answer):

“I was made aware of that and I don’t wanna add any fuel to the fire. I’ll just echo exactly what Matt said.”

It is pretty safe to assume the entire Packers locker room is well aware of what Za’Darius Smith has been saying.  There’s no secret that the two sides didn’t split amicably.  However Za’Darius is doing a really good job of making both sides aware of how he feels.  What’s crazy is he is making it seem like it’s all about him.  Not the Vikings.  That’s a great teammate… right?

It will certainly be interesting to see how Za’Darius Smith will perform.  The Vikings play the Packers in Weeks 1 and 17. If anything, his problem and “bad experience” with the team cod give him extra motivation. However, with his recent comments, Green Bay certainly has enough ammo to take it to him as well.  Let’s remember, Green Bay’s offensive coordinator, Adam Stenavich, is an offensive line magician.

He’s just mad that he had a “captain’s ” C chain made before last season and the team didn’t choose him as a captain… sour grapes

Agreed. Also I would add: his injury; from how things have played out now, is probably something he got during college and is obviously salty at GB so he’s using it as a crutch… I’m so disappointed! What a d*ck.
