Colin Cowherd is one of the most listened to sports commentators in the United States. Over the years, he has made several comments about Aaron Rodgers that have garnered headlines and downloads. He has, generally, been very critical of Rodgers and rarely has had anything good to say about him. This is, presumably, because spouting unpopular opinions is great for drawing attention to oneself. Well, this past week, Cowherd revealed what he really is: a download-chasing pot-stirrer who can’t be taken seriously.
Aaron Rodgers to the Jets?
The popular trade rumor floating around social media is that the New York Jets could potentially trade for Aaron Rodgers. On Tuesday of this past week, Cowherd used his show to state what a great fit Rodgers would be on the Jets. Then, on Friday, he railed against the idea saying that Rodgers would be a terrible fit on the Jets:

The video above speaks for itself. In one breath, he talks about how the Jets have the space and can afford to pay Aaron Rodgers. Then, three days later, he says Rodgers is too expensive and “some decisions would have to be made” by the Jets in order to afford him.
Well, which is it?
