I was once in a friend’s kitchen when he asked me if I knew anything about Bitcoin. I did not. It was $6 per coin back then. SIX DOLLARS. He invested. I didn’t. I now see his social media posts all around the world. We all know what Bitcoin is going for these days. If you don’t know, it’s going for a LOT. Obviously, I’m not “crypto guy”.
Do you know who IS “crypto guy”?
Green Bay Packers Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers is a big time believer/user/fan of cryptocurrency. The 4-time MVP picked up an endorsement with CashApp last fall and dressed up as John Wick to announce a giveaway:
I believe in Bitcoin & the future is bright. That's why I’m teaming up with Cash App to take a portion of my salary in bitcoin today.

To make Bitcoin more accessible to my fans I’m giving out a total of $1M in btc now too. Drop your $cashtag w/ #PaidInBitcoin & follow @CashApp pic.twitter.com/mstV7eal04
Fast forward to this week in Miami, FL where Rodgers along with other VIP’s like, Serena Williams, Andrew Yang & Odell Beckham Jr. were part of a panel at “Bitcoin 22” – a convention for Bitcoin. I assume there’s LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of money at this convention. Rodgers is betting BIG on Bitcoin (WHY didn’t I invest with my friend at $6/coin!?!?!?) and so are his friends:
And here’s Rodgers backstage (or in a parking garage?) with Serena & OBJ:
If anyone wants to give me some Bitcoin, DM me on social media. I’ll gladly take it. I’ll regret not buying it for the rest of my life.
