The Packers’ season ended on Sunday night with a tough loss to the Lions. What makes the loss hurt, even more, is that this could be the last time that we see certain players in a Packers uniform. Two of those players are Packers legends and had an emotional moment after the game. Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb embraced while walking down the tunnel in an emotional video.

Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb Walk Down Tunnel
The immediate question for every Packers fan after the game was the future of Rodgers. Rodgers’ behavior after the game pointed toward him hanging it up. As they were walking into the tunnel, Rodgers and Cobb embraced taking in the experience. Watching the video, it looks like two long-time teammates and friends walking down the tunnel for the last time. As a Packers fan, it was hard to get emotional as both of these players have brought so much to the franchise.

Rodgers did not provide a definitive answer on his future. As usual, he will take some time away and decide what to do after the emotions have calmed down. However, his comments were similar to his behavior on the field with Cobb. While he did not come out and say anything definitive, these comments felt different than last year especially. There are a lot of offseason decisions to watch but none bigger than Rodgers’ decision to retire or not.
I’ll admit that I got a little emotional watching Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb walk down the tunnel together. These two players have had so many huge moments in the Packers’ history. The 4th-down play against the Bears is one that I will remember forever. Packers fans now wait for the final decision that hopefully will come sooner rather than later.
