The Green Bay Packers still have slim playoff hopes but for Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the team, they are hoping everything falls into place and they can sneak in.
Green Bay needs a lot to happen between now and the end of Week 18, including winning out in the next four games. They also need teams like the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, and Washington Commanders to lose.
On Thursday night, there’s an opportunity for Seattle to drop a game as they face San Francisco. And Rodgers admits the team will be scoreboard-watching.
During his media session earlier in the day, Rodgers told reporters that you ‘have to scoreboard watch’ in these situations. But there’s a catch — he doesn’t have Amazon Prime:
Aaron Rodgers says you gotta scoreboard watch. He doesn’t have Amazon Prime, but he’ll be following 49ers-Seahawks tonight and rooting for the 49ers.

Someone close to Rodgers and likely most of the roster has Amazon Prime, so they will be able to provide updates during the game. The tough part in all of this is Green Bay having to root for San Francisco, a team that has eliminated them in the playoffs a few times since 2010 including last season.
But hey, you gotta root for who you gotta root for and take care of your own business.
