Aaron Jones has become a fan favorite over the last few years for his work on and off the football field. Jones has made a name for himself as a player, but his character has been on full display since he arrived in Green Bay. Jones is well known for his charitable work and respectful attitude. However, during one of his recent charitable events, an audience member made a negative comment about the Packers and Jones responded.
Aaron Jones Response
A video posted by Lori Nickel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel shows Jones’ response. Nickel prefaced the video by saying that an audience member said something along the lines of, “the Packers are not very good.” Jones kept his cool, did not raise his voice and responded to the heckler.
Not here to rip a kid or anything. Let’s NOT.
But how about some manners? Or, respect? From us?
When someone in the audience said something like, ‘the Packers aren’t very good’ in a Q&A @Showtyme_33 was a bit taken aback. “Are you an analyst?” The RB said. And then he said this: https://t.co/Nh9T6xSWr7 pic.twitter.com/flX1ATbrz1— Lori Nickel (@LoriNickel) May 18, 2023
“You say a professional sports team is not that good. Are you good enough to play on that team. I’m not calling you out. I hope one day if you play sports you are good enough to play at that level. I understand, but you got to have respect too for people.”

Aaron Jones Off The Field
Even when he is responding to hecklers, Aaron Jones is as respectful as they come. Jones was named the Packers nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2022. Even though he did not win, he continues to be a light in communities of need.
Jones was handing out shoes for the Boys & Girls Club of Milwaukee when an audience member made the comment. Jones has made it a priority to give back to the less fortunate and will look to continue throughout the course of his career.
