The Green Bay Packers received great news for the offense on Thursday as an offensive weapon that was ruled out in Week 2 returned to practice.
The Packers were without skilled players Aaron Jones and Christian Watson during their Week 2 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Watson returned to practice Wednesday, but Jones was a DNP on Wednesday’s injury report.
Jones would be a noticeable scratch in Week 3 against the Saints. The Packers are expected to be shorthanded, with David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins likely to miss the game.
Aaron Jones is back at Green Bay Packers practice
According to Matt Schneidman with The Athletic, Jones is back to practice.
Aaron Jones is back at practice for the first time since injuring his hamstring in Week 1 against the Bears.
However, Christian Watson is not practicing today after practicing yesterday.
Safety Zayne Anderson also a new DNP. David Bakhtiari again not out here.

The bad news is that Watson is not back to practice.
The Packers need Jones to play against the Saints to keep pressure off Jordan Love and the passing game from a great pass-rushing team. The Packers struggled to run without Jones in Week 2.
