Yesterday Mike Daniels went to social media in response to a tweet that pointed out how he was getting interest from NFL teams while facilities were closed. Daniels stated how he has been cleared to play and is ready to go. When Packers legend Leroy butler saw this he responded by saying Daniels should call the Packers in hopes for a reunion that would fill a need for the Packers.
Mike Daniels noticed and didn’t turn down the notion. He simply stated that when it comes to the NFL off season, anything can happen.
How does Daniels Fit?
Last season for the Lions, Daniels battled injury and had limited opportunities. Daniels is one of the premier free agents still available. The former Packer is certainly a fan favorite and could provide help in an area of need for the Packers. Daniels is a stout run defender and could provide a help along side younger players like Kenny Clark and Kingsley Keke.
