Fathers day is on June 20th this year. If you can’t figure out what your die hard Packer fan dad wants this year, I’m here to help you. As a dad myself I have a pretty good idea on dad style, and what would be the perfect addition for his Packer themed man cave. So lets get into it, a guide to help you get your dad the perfect gift this year.
A Jersey Of His Favorite Player
It’s hard to find a cooler gift than a jersey of your favorite player. There’s just something about rocking your favorite players jersey, and watching him on the field making plays. That Sunday morning fit going to the grocery store to get snacks wearing the Green and Gold just lets people know you mean business. In the summer a jersey is a perfect look over a white tee. During the winter a jersey over a hoodie is the perfect look for the cold weather. Either way your dad is gonna love rocking a jersey come Packer football season. Get your jerseys here.
A Pint Glass
It may seem like a simple gift, but an ice cold pint glass with your favorite beer is an all time dad favorite. Sitting down for Packer football with snacks with an ice cold beer out of your Packer pint glass is hard to beat. The Packers Pro Shop are always featuring new designs, so they also make a great collectors item. A case of Spotted Cow is a great addition alongside the Glass. Here is the current selection.
Man Cave Wall Decor
The perfect piece of Packers art can really tie the room together. The Packers Pro Shop features many beautiful pieces of work that really stand out. Many beautiful works feature the beautiful photography of Packers official photographer Evan Siegle. Ive added a few of his amazing works over time. Whether it be a photo of a favorite player, or even a shot of Lambeau from up above, the Pro Shop certainly has that perfect piece. All it takes is that one amazing piece of work to make your dad’s friends jealous of his man cave.
A Hat
Another simple one, but a hat is an important part of a dad fit. A bucket hat for when he’s mowing, or a snap back for grilling days by the pool. I’ve lost track of how many Packers hats I have, but you’ll be hard pressed to find me without one of my many Packer hats on. Whatever style you choose, just know your dad is certainly going to add it to his all important “dad fit.” New hats were added today just in time for Father’s Day and the dog days of summer.
Packers Signed Memorabilia
If your dad has been extra special this year there are plenty of signed memorabilia to make his whole year. Some of the most common items are Helmets, both full size and mini, and a variation of footballs. The NFL Shop has some fan favorite autographed memorabilia that is all guaranteed to be pristine and official. Throughout the year there are many Packer players that will do signings with different businesses throughout Wisconsin.
You can choose items from the NFL Shop, or I’ll link at the bottom my two favorite businesses to get autographed memorabilia from. The NFL Shop has many items available but there are many different items you can get signed for your dad through the third party businesses. I myself am a big fan of mini helmets. Over the past two years, I’ve amassed around 30 different player autographs.
Something For The Yard/Truck
One of the first things I did when I bought my truck was buy a Packers hitch cover and nice decal. The all important pride of being a Packers fan and letting people know is just part of life. A vinyl decal for the truck or a flag to hang over your garage are all about letting people know you root for the greatest franchise in all of sports. There’s plenty of ways to show your fandom, but know that at the end of the day when dad looks at his house, he’ll be proud to see that piece of Packers decor featured out front.
Happy Father’s Day
Hopefully if you were stumped on what to get your dad for Father’s Day this year, I was able to help. Happy Father’s Day to all the Packers Dads out there. Go Pack Go.
