Three Wisconsin Badgers invited to NFL combine
Three Wisconsin Badgers are on the radar of scouts ahead of the NFL Draft. The NFL announced who would be participating in the 2023 NFL Combine. The combine, which will take place March 2nd through the 5th in Indianapolis, is an annual event where NFL prospects can showcase their athletic ability in drills. General managers, scouts, and coaches will be present at the event.
According to a statement by the league, 319 players have been invited to the NFL Combine this year. Three Badgers made this list. Offensive lineman Joe Tippmann, defensive lineman Keeanu Benton, and linebacker Nick Herbig made the cut for the combine.
Benton appears to be moving up the ranks before the NFL draft. He participated in the Senior Bowl last week in Alabama. The defensive lineman was considered by offensive linemen, scouts, and analysts at the event to be one of the toughest defensive linemen to block.
