Week 1 of the NFL season is only a few weeks away! The Packers offense looks as good as ever and multiple players could be in line for a big season. As a result, if you have a Packers player on your fantasy football teams, you could benefit from this. Multiple players had breakout years including 2021 MVP Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, Davante Adams, and Robert Tonyan. Can they have repeat performances this year? Let’s take a look!
Aaron Rodgers
As mentioned, Rodgers took home his 3rd NFL MVP in 2020. In 2020, he threw for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. In other words, he was just about perfect on the field. Is it fair to expect a repeat performance this year? The answer is yes. Rodgers has consistent numbers like this for a majority of his career and we shouldn’t be surprised any more. It will be hard to repeat these stats, but Rodgers can certainly put up similar numbers. Entering his 17th year, he is showing no signs of slowing down for your fantasy team.
2021: 4,178 yards. 42 total touchdowns. 6 interceptions
Aaron Jones
Aaron Jones enjoyed a really good 2020 season as well. He had 1,104 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns. In the passing game, he had 47 catches for 355 yards and 2 more touchdowns. As I mentioned in my last article, if he is available in the mid to late 1st round in your fantasy football draft, you have to take him. Not only would is be a homer pick, but it would be a smart move. Jones plays a big role in Matt LaFleur’s offense and he can be involved in many ways. He’s a must start every week. I also expect a similar 2021 from Aaron Jones.
2021: 1,067 yards. 9 touchdowns. 39 catches. 305 yards. 3 touchdowns.
Davante Adams

There is no doubt Adams is the best receiver in the game today. You could include Tyreek Hill and DeAndre Hopkins in this conversation, but Adams is the better overall player, In 2020, Adams had 115 catches for 1,374 yards and 18 touchdowns! Yes, that is insane. It’s not a bad thing to say that I expect these number to dwindle in 2021, but not by much. These are almost video game like numbers. Adams should also have a solid 2021 year for your fantasy football team. With the emergence of MVS and addition of Randall Cobb, I expect these stats to go down a bit, but not much.
2021: 110 catches. 1,234 yards. 14 touchdowns.
Robert Tonyan

Robert Tonyan enjoyed a breakout season in 2020. After a few years of making the roster with limited playing time, Tonyan earned the starting job last season and was one of the best tight ends in football. For some reason, Evan Engram of the Giants was selected over him in the Pro Bowl, which will forever be questioned. Like Adams, I think it’s okay to assume a slight set back in 2021, especially with the offensive additions. However, Tonyan does a great job getting open and I expect Rodger to give him his fair share of targets too.
2021: 45 catches. 654 yards. 7 touchdowns.
MVS
There is no doubt MVS is having the best camp of any Packers player. Every day, he’s making great plays and recently feasted on the Jets secondary in their joint practices.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling is easily having his best camp. Showed great hands just now when he high-pointed a 40-yarder from Rodgers against good coverage by Jets CB Bless Austin.

MVS is possibly in line for a breakout season in his contract year. he’s a consistent deep threat and can be a difference maker anytime he’s on the field. Drops will always be a question with him, but I think this is the year he breaks through.
2021: 68 catches. 954 yards. 7 touchdowns.
Others
We can’t forget about Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard. They are both weapons in this Packers passing game and can take over a game or make a play at any time. Cobb should be a security blanket while Lazard could be a big target, especially in the slot. Lazard and Cobb could be sneaky good 3rd down weapons for Rodgers.
