Green Bay Packers fans have been focused on one primary storyline all offseason: all the trade rumors and speculation surrounding Aaron Rodgers. All of a sudden, though, the 2023 NFL Combine has come upon us and fans can start focusing on the draft. As part of this event, former Packers running back Jamaal Williams and current running back Aaron Jones will team up to provide coverage of the event.
In the past, there was very little television coverage of the NFL Combine for fans to consume. However, that has changed in recent years. This year, there will be a “Players Only Combine” team on NFL+ that will provide coverage of the event from current players’ perspective. Jones and Williams will be part of this team.
The two running backs, of course, were both drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2017. Williams has played for the Detroit Lions for the past two seasons, but remains a fan favorite in Green Bay. Jones, of course, has remained with the Packers, recently taking a $5 million pay cut in order to stay with the team.
